By HIS STRIPES, WE WERE HEALED?

By HIS STRIPES, WE WERE HEALED?

HEALED OF CANCER OR SACRIFICE FOR SIN?

Isaiah 53:4-6 Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.
But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.

Every scholar knows ISAIAH 53 is a SALVATION EXCLUSIVE TEXT.

He was WOUNDED FOR OUR TRANSGRESSIONS.

NOT OUR CANCER OR DIABETES.

Paul quoted Isaiah 53 in Roman’s 10.

Romans 10:16 But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report?

The Report is SALVATION.

By His stripes, HE HAS ATONED FOR OUR SINS.

Jesus didn’t need to DIE TO HEAL ANYONE OF ANY DISEASE.

The prophets of Old healed before JESUS came.

Jesus Himself Healed innumerable folks, He didn’t need to die to do this.

Healing is not an EXCLUSIVE RIGHT OF ANY BELIEVER IN CHRIST.

Jesus heals atheists.

Muslims.
.etc

Healing is strictly a CHARISMATIC MINISTRY.

It attests to THE MESSAGE OF SALVATION, IT IS NOT SALVATION.

Acts 10:38 How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.

Charismatic ministry is done by the POWER OF THE SPIRIT.

JESUS HEALED THE SICK BY THIS POWER.

CASTED OUT DEVILS BY THIS POWER.

WE DO SAME!!

Matthew 12:28 But if I cast out devils by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God is come unto you.

By the SPIRIT.

Apostle Peter quoted Isaiah 53 for salvation also.

1 Peter 2:21-25 For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps:
Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth:
Who, when he was reviled, reviled not again; when he suffered, he threatened not; but committed himself to him that judgeth righteously:
Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.
For ye were as sheep going astray; but are now returned unto the Shepherd and Bishop of your souls.
